Name: Jerry

Place of birth:
Bloomington, MN

What was your first concert?
I was forced to see Alabama at the State Fair with my parents at a young age.

What band/artist would provide the soundtrack for the movie of your life?
I'd love for Emily Haines to score my life, but I think she might find it a bit boring, haha... Unless she has an untapped catalog of material about a workaholic.

What is your drink of choice to close the night?
A glass of water. I'm not a big fan of hangovers.

What do you like to do before you go to bed?
Fluff my pillow.

Who would you most want to fight (living/dead/historical/fictional)?
I'm don't condone violence of any kind.

If you played a sport, what position and for what team would you play?
The Twins, First Base

If you could prevent the existence of one band/artist, who would it be and why?
So many bands, but I'll go with Alice In Chains. If it hadn't been for Lane Staley's fake sounding vocals, we could have avoided Creed, Nickelback, Staind, Hinder, 3 Doors Down, Puddle Of Mudd, etc. The world would be a far better place.

What album do you most regret purchasing?
I choose not to incriminate myself or take us out of the running on any credible artist that has made a shitty CD or two along the way.

What would be your weapon of choice if forced to compete in a real-life Street Fighteresque underground fighting ring?
A lot of fighting questions here. Someone has rage issues they need to work out and it's not me :)

What is your favorite flavor of Snapple?
They still make Snapple?

If you were going to die in a week, how would you like to go?
In my sleep

What multi-hyphenated genre of music should exist that doesn't (yet)?
I actually hate that music has to be categorized.

What office supply can you not live without?
My stapler (Let the Office Space impersonations ensue)

What are you better at than most anybody else?
Using common sense.

What do you do when you're angry?
I either get sarcastic or I get very quiet.

What is the most enjoyable day you've ever had?
I suppose I should try to be witty here but I'll choose to be mushy and sentimental. It was a day during a trip my mom and I took to Florida during my Spring Break. It was a total last minute thing. She rented a convertible, but it was still too cold to have the top down. We put it down anyway and just cranked the heat. I just have that image etched in my mind. The month after we got back she was diagnosed with lung cancer and 8 months later she died. I know there was a higher power involved in putting that trip together and I'll always feel so grateful to have had that time with her before she had to start chemo and got so sick.

What is the greatest benefit of knowing Jesse Stensby? Passing off the menial tasks I don't want to do. Just kidding. Um, having a beautiful website. Is that better?
