In early 2004, THE ETTES exploded out of the gates with their beat-punk sound and haven't stopped since. Drawing inspiration from early punk and beat bands like the Stooges, the Ramones, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, as well as more melodic 60's country acts like Patsy Cline and Nancy Sinatra, The Ettes have a rock-and-roll sound all their own. Their live energy is simply contagious. With a high performance level and stage presence, The Ettes leave rooms swirling with energy and the crowd demanding more.
Beyond that, The Ettes tour relentlessly and have shared the stage with such acts as Radio Birdman, The Constantines, The New York Dolls, Holly Golightly, and The Black Lips.
Magnet Magazine got it right when they deemed The Ettes a "Band To Watch in 2007," and "As fetching as they are ferocious."
Lauded by fans and critics alike, The Ettes have created a whole new beat-punk rock-and-roll sound that has been blowing people away from Canada and the States, to the UK and Europe, and everywhere in between.
Now it's your turn to fall in love with "Look At Life Again Soon." Recorded at London's fabled Toerag Studios with producer Liam Watson (White Stripes, Kills), the new record possesses a dark garage sound not seen since, well, maybe ever.
